We got reaction from Alayna Millard on Sunday afternoon following a 5-1 victory for Barnsley FC Women at South Shields.
Grabbing herself a brace - including a 40-yard wonder strike - it's safe to say that Alayna Millard was happy with her trip to the North East at the weekend.
The Reds are now just a point away from securing the league title.
"That was a huge result for us on Sunday," said Millard. "The atmosphere after the game was so positive, you can feel how much it means to the team.
"The form we’re on is credit to the girls and the coaching staff for the hard work we’ve been putting in every week. We’ve come up against some good teams and found a way to win."
Long range strikes and clever finishes displayed a real ruthless streak in this Reds side as they ended the promotion hopes of their hosts on Sunday.
Attention now turns to Wallsend - back in the North East - this weekend.
"Scoring two goals is a good feeling and as a team to score five was amazing, especially the way we scored the goals. There were some really good ones in there!
"To be part of a game like that is always good but I think we’re all just focused now on the last two games, making sure we finish the season with two more wins and the title."
